This glaze does not add a sticky coating to your ham. It simply adds alot of flavour. Wrapping it in foil keeps it from drying out.
3 1/2 lbs boneless smoked ham
whole cloves
2 tbsps brown sugar
1 tbsp pineapple juice (or orange juice)
1/4 tsp dry mustard
1/8 tsp nutmeg
1/8 tsp cinnamon
Score the ham and insert cloves.
Wrap ham firmly in foil and bake at 250 F for 1 hour.
Remove ham from oven and raise the temperature to 425 F
Mix glaze ingredients together and spoon over the ham.
Return to oven, uncovered, for 5 - 8 minutes.
What a great Sunday dinner! Also pictured here is my first attempt at brussels sprouts. Not bad if I do say so myself.

Mom's are always running, am I right? And when you hit menopause, you're running hot and cold! So welcome to Hot and Cold Running Mom...where you'll find mostly easy recipes (because who has time for complicated ones!), helpful household hints and a few crafts. Note: NOT just for Menopausal Moms!
I started this blog so my daughters could find all of our family favourite recipes in one place. It has actually grown into more than just the family favourites but also other recipes we've tried out in our kitchen. I don't like to fill up the post with alot of chatter. Sometimes there's a little story to tell, but usually I like to get right to the point. So this is for them, but hope you find some recipes that you like as well. I'll be sharing a lot of recipes, and along the way you'll find some crafty things and maybe some helpful hints too! Welcome!
