Pork Chops with Sour Cream Gravy

I had a container of what I thought was paprika that I had gotten from my Mom.  Turns out it was chili powder.  Made these pork chops spicier than planned.  But it was a happy error. If you want it spicy use chili on the pork chops and paprika in the gravy. That's what I ended up doing having realized the error before the addition of chili to the gravy. Or you could stick with just paprika throughout.

3 large pork chops
1 tsp paprika (or chili powder)
salt and pepper
1 tbsp olive oil
1 onion, thinly sliced
1 garlic clove, minced
1/3 cup chopped cabbage (optional)
1/3 cup sour cream
1 tsp paprika (or chili powder if you want it really hot!)

Sprinkle the pork chops with paprika, salt and pepper and brown in olive oil.  Add the onion, cabbage and garlic in between the chops and cook until lightly browned and the cabbage is tender crisp.
Stir paprika into the sour cream and pour into the pan. Cover and simmer over medium low heat for 15 - 20 minutes.
Gorgeous!
