All you need for this simple centerpiece are 4 things.
And no special craft talent needed.
A tall clear vase, several cinnamon sticks, an unscented candle in glass and some white crystal fake snow from the dollar or craft store.
You can use any size vase but I thought this tall one looked good. Fill it part way with snow, sit the candle jar in the center and poke the cinnamon sticks in the snow all around.
Once lit with a long handled lighter it gives your table a nice soft glow.
Mom's are always running, am I right? And when you hit menopause, you're running hot and cold! So welcome to Hot and Cold Running Mom...where you'll find mostly easy recipes (because who has time for complicated ones!), helpful household hints and a few crafts. Note: NOT just for Menopausal Moms!
I started this blog so my daughters could find all of our family favourite recipes in one place. It has actually grown into more than just the family favourites but also other recipes we've tried out in our kitchen. I don't like to fill up the post with alot of chatter. Sometimes there's a little story to tell, but usually I like to get right to the point. So this is for them, but hope you find some recipes that you like as well. I'll be sharing a lot of recipes, and along the way you'll find some crafty things and maybe some helpful hints too! Welcome!
