Mix these ingredients together in a jar and keep on hand for your next Taco Tuesday!
1 tbsp chili powder
1/4 tsp onion powder
1/4 tsp garlic powder
1/4 tsp oregano
1/4 tsp dried red pepper flakes
1/2 tsp smoked paprika
1 1/2 tsps ground cumin
1/2 tsp himalayan salt
1 tsp black pepper
For each pound of ground beef add 2-3 tbsps of this taco seasoning along with 1/2 cup of water. Simmer away the water and you are ready to build your tacos!
Or spice up whatever you like...chicken, pork, fish.......um, maybe shrimp, sweet potatoes.....Stop me, I'm rambling.

Mom's are always running, am I right? And when you hit menopause, you're running hot and cold! So welcome to Hot and Cold Running Mom...where you'll find mostly easy recipes (because who has time for complicated ones!), helpful household hints and a few crafts. Note: NOT just for Menopausal Moms!
I started this blog so my daughters could find all of our family favourite recipes in one place. It has actually grown into more than just the family favourites but also other recipes we've tried out in our kitchen. I don't like to fill up the post with alot of chatter. Sometimes there's a little story to tell, but usually I like to get right to the point. So this is for them, but hope you find some recipes that you like as well. I'll be sharing a lot of recipes, and along the way you'll find some crafty things and maybe some helpful hints too! Welcome!
