If you've got a dish that you love to make but hate the cleanup, then use parchment paper!
Like I did here.
4 chicken legs, split
4 cloves garlic, minced
1/4 cup honey
1 tbsp balsamic vinegar
1 tbsp lemon juice
1/2 cup chopped walnuts
Line your baking dish and put the chicken pieces in without overlapping.
Combine garlic, honey, balsamic and lemon juice and pour over the chicken to coat.
Bake at 400 F for 50 minutes, spooning juices over 1 or 2 times.
Remove from oven baste again, but this time sprinkle with walnuts
and return to the oven for 5-10 minutes watching that the walnuts don't burn.
And the parchment kept the cleanup to a minimum!
Mom's are always running, am I right? And when you hit menopause, you're running hot and cold! So welcome to Hot and Cold Running Mom...where you'll find mostly easy recipes (because who has time for complicated ones!), helpful household hints and a few crafts. Note: NOT just for Menopausal Moms!
I started this blog so my daughters could find all of our family favourite recipes in one place. It has actually grown into more than just the family favourites but also other recipes we've tried out in our kitchen. I don't like to fill up the post with alot of chatter. Sometimes there's a little story to tell, but usually I like to get right to the point. So this is for them, but hope you find some recipes that you like as well. I'll be sharing a lot of recipes, and along the way you'll find some crafty things and maybe some helpful hints too! Welcome!
