Sometimes you just need a few tasty things to make one big tasty thing! Had a few tasty things lying around in the fridge and threw them together. Had to jot down what I did real quick before I forgot what went into this pizza because it turned out just so yummy!
Ingredients: (for 1 pizza)
1 large pita
1-2 tbsps caesar dressing (I used Renée's)
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
6 or 7 slices hot capicolla
4 or 5 cherry tomatoes, sliced
2 or 3 roasted sweet peppers, sliced
parmesan cheese
spinach/arugula/basil/parsley
Spread the caesar dressing on the pita, add the cheese, capicolla, tomatoes and peppers. Top with some parmesan.
Broil 2-3 minutes. Remove from oven and top with your greens.
Simple does not mean plain. But this was just plain awesome!
Mom's are always running, am I right? And when you hit menopause, you're running hot and cold! So welcome to Hot and Cold Running Mom...where you'll find mostly easy recipes (because who has time for complicated ones!), helpful household hints and a few crafts. Note: NOT just for Menopausal Moms!
I started this blog so my daughters could find all of our family favourite recipes in one place. It has actually grown into more than just the family favourites but also other recipes we've tried out in our kitchen. I don't like to fill up the post with alot of chatter. Sometimes there's a little story to tell, but usually I like to get right to the point. So this is for them, but hope you find some recipes that you like as well. I'll be sharing a lot of recipes, and along the way you'll find some crafty things and maybe some helpful hints too! Welcome!
